Skills & Responsibilities
Electrical Engineering & P&ID: Design balance-of-plant systems, review schematic diagrams and P&IDs, and prepare technical drawings and calculations.
Project Execution: Manage technical scopes, raise purchase requisitions, and coordinate supplier and factory deliverables.
Site Supervision & Commissioning: Provide onsite technical support, installation supervision, and system commissioning for power generation projects.
Technical Training: Conduct technical presentations and training for internal teams, subsidiaries, and partners.
Potential transition routes: People from electrical project engineer or field service engineer roles may bring relevant power systems and site execution skills, alongside meeting the mandatory engineering degree and industry experience requirements.

Position Summary
The Onsite Execution Engineer (Electrical/ Genset Projects / Power Generation) will be responsible for executing technical application engineering activities for diesel genset direct sales orders across the APAC region. This includes balance-of-plant engineering, project technical execution, site supervision, commissioning, and coordination with internal teams, suppliers and customers to ensure successful delivery of power generation projects.
This role requires strong technical knowledge in diesel/gas engines and electrical power systems, hands-on project and site experience, and the ability to balance technical solutions with commercial considerations.
What you will be doing:
Sales & Pre-Execution Support
Support sales engineering on balance-of-plant design topics and best practices
Share lessons learned to support future project pursuits
Order Execution
Take over awarded orders from Sales and execute technical scope with the Project Manager.
Balance technical solutions against project budget and commercial requirements.
Work with internal teams, suppliers and contractors to fulfil contractual obligations.
Prepare and provide technical drawings, calculations, manuals and documentation.
Coordinate factory and supplier deliverables and validate technical proposals.
Finalize balance-of-plant design and raise purchase requisitions.
Integrate all balance-of-plant scope into final product delivery.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and international / local standards.
Support subsidiaries and partners with technical guidance during site execution.
Conduct technical presentations and training.
Site Execution & Commissioning
Provide onsite technical support including installation, supervision and commissioning
Ensure successful plant integration and functionality
Others
Stay updated on technical developments in the market and internal products.
Perform overseas travel as required.
Undertake special assignments when delegated.
Position requirements:

Willing to travel within APAC.
