The role

Redgate is seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to join our team and lead our Productivity group. This is a rare opportunity to take on a broad remit, in an influential role, which will genuinely shape the future of our products and our Productivity business.

With responsibility for managing a team of Product Managers and the product portfolio in your solution area, you'll collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and execute the solution vision and direction. Your expertise in designing solution strategies and driving commercial outcomes will be instrumental in achieving our business goals.

As a Group Product Manager, you’ll work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions. You’ll also work closely with Sales, Marketing, Onboarding and Support teams, to translate these to customer adoption and value.

You’ll inspire and lead a high-performing team, ensuring that our products deliver for customers, and develop effectively aligned with the overarching portfolio vision. In addition, you will use your skills and experience to contribute to the continued growth of our product function.

What makes you Redgate’s next Group Product Manager?

  • You’ll have experience in a product leadership role, of successfully owning and developing product vision and strategy.

  • You'll have experience translating product vision and strategy to plans and goals, and inspiring cross-functional teams to succeed with these

  • You’ll have experience of revenue/P&L ownership, and a track record of successfully achieving commercial goals for your products/solutions

  • You’ll be customer-centric, with experience in leading initiatives to improve customers’ outcomes.

  • You’ll have evidence of building high-trust relationships with senior leaders, direct reports, and development teams.

  • You’ll have experience working within an agile environment, including SCRUM and Kanban, and demonstrated advocacy of lean Product Management techniques.

  • You’ll have significant experience collaborating with sales and marketing teams, to ensure alignment and achieve go-to-market success.

  • You’ll be enthusiastic, and credible when talking to customers, with proven effectiveness working with senior decision-makers.

  • You’ll have a strong understanding of Redgate’s market and how this is evolving, ideally combined with real-world, hands-on experience working with database solutions.

  • You’ll have demonstrable experience of successful cross-team and peer collaboration and balancing business and organizational needs.

  • You’ll have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain and translate complex needs/concepts into clear and effective plans that are understood by the intended audience.

What’s the package?

  • A great benefits package including a Long Term Incentive Plan

  • Salary is up to £120,000, depending on experience
