Your Opportunity

Mott MacDonald is growing, and we’re hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to help deliver the talent behind major infrastructure, engineering and project delivery across Australia. Sydney is our preferred location for this role; however, we are also open to considering candidates based in Brisbane or Adelaide.

About the Role

Partnering closely with leaders, you’ll shape workforce outcomes by building strong talent pipelines and delivering high-quality hires across a complex, high-volume and diverse portfolio.

You’ll partner with senior leaders, shape hiring strategy, and drive outcomes in a competitive market, whilst enhancing the overall candidate experience and contributing to key talent initiatives and projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days will be the same, but here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across a diverse and complex portfolio, partnering closely with hiring managers to drive strong hiring outcomes
  • Provide practical, delivery-focused recruitment support to stakeholders, offering market insight and guidance to progress hiring outcomes
  • Lead proactive sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill roles, leveraging LinkedIn and detailed market mapping to identify, engage and convert top talent
  • Support leaders to make informed, timely hiring decisions that balance speed, quality, and candidate experience
  • Create a positive and professional candidate experience through clear, responsive, and transparent communication
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team (including mobility, advisory, and talent development) to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee journey
  • Contribute to early talent initiatives, including graduate and intern recruitment and attraction campaigns
  • Get involved in projects that improve recruitment processes, tools, and employer brand
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion through thoughtful and inclusive hiring practices

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing recruitment in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with the ability to prioritise, deliver at pace, and continuously improve ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and drive outcomes with hiring managers
  • Advanced proactive sourcing capability, including LinkedIn and market mapping for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Exceptional candidate management skills, delivering a high-quality, engaging experience throughout the hiring process
  • High level of adaptability, with the ability to pivot quickly and remain effective in a changing and evolving environment
  • Creativity in sourcing and attraction strategies, finding new ways to engage talent and solve hiring challenges in demand driven markets
  • A delivery-focused mindset, with a track record of progressing roles and securing hires in complex or competitive markets
