About Motorway

Motorway is the UK’s fastest-growing used car marketplace – our award winning, online-only platform connects private car sellers with over 7,500 verified dealers nationwide, who compete to offer the best price. Founded in 2017, our technology makes the process refreshingly easy, earning us an 'Excellent' Trustpilot rating with over 70,000 reviews. We're not just building a platform; we're changing how people sell cars.

Backed by leading investors like Index Ventures and ICONIQ Growth, and following a successful $190 million funding round, we're on a mission to transform the used car market.

About the team

👋 Hi, I'm Jeff, Head of Talent at Motorway. I'm looking for a Talent Partner to join my team and own the end-to-end hiring for our high-volume Customer Experience and Sales roles, based in our Brighton office. We're a small but mighty Talent team that truly drives Motorway's growth. We find the brilliant people who make us shine, and you'll play a vital role in building our fantastic teams in Brighton. • Take the wheel on end-to-end recruitment for all high-volume Customer Experience and Sales roles in our Brighton office, making sure we find the best people, fast.

  • Skillfully manage a large pipeline of candidates, from sourcing and screening to closing, juggling 10+ roles at any given time.

  • Be the go-to person for all things recruitment in Brighton, working closely with our stakeholders and providing regular, clear updates on our progress.

  • Orchestrate a seamless candidate journey, ensuring every candidate has a positive and organised experience from their first click to their first day.

  • Keep everything running smoothly in our Applicant Tracking System (Ashby), ensuring data is spot on and processes are efficient.

  • Support offer stages, negotiations, and efficiently trigger reference and onboarding workflows, making sure new hires have a smooth start.

About you

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience owning the full recruitment lifecycle, especially in high-volume environments.

  • A knack for managing multiple priorities with exceptional organisation and a keen eye for detail.

  • Experience in sourcing, screening, and closing candidates, with a track record of success.

  • Confidence in managing stakeholder relationships and providing clear, proactive updates.

  • The ability to work autonomously and be the main point of contact for recruitment in our Brighton office.

  • A solid understanding of applicant tracking systems; experience with Ashby is a bonus!

You could be a great fit if:

  • You thrive on a busy day, easily juggling multiple tasks and always staying on top of your game.

  • You're a natural at connecting with people and building strong relationships.

  • You're super organised and love making things run like clockwork.

  • You're proactive and love taking the initiative to get things done.

  • You're a brilliant communicator, clear and concise, whether you're chatting with a candidate or updating a hiring manager.
