This Taste the Future program is based in Kazichene our croissant and bake rolls factory, with 6 to 9 months duration and with full-time working day, labor agreement, and monthly remuneration. You will have the opportunity to work independently while receiving the right feedback and coaching, then it's up to you to prove yourself.

We are offering an internship program designed to provide you with hands-on experience in the food industry. At the end of this program, you'll be fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to transition into a permanent role such as a Team lead or Shift supervisor within our company and continue to grow your career in the dynamic world of snacking.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will monitor and support production processes to ensure we deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will ensure compliance with recipes, specifications, and schedules while actively identifying opportunities to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement.

What you need to know about this position

  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with recipes, specifications, and schedules.
  • Ensure that all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment are available in the correct locations.
  • Perform regular quality checks on products at various stages (mixing, baking, packaging).
  • Identify and immediately address quality deviations, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials.
  • Control and verify the correct completion of all food safety protocols (HACCP, GMP), hygiene, and workplace safety records.
  • Ensure and verify the proper use and maintenance of PPE (personal protective equipment) by the team.
  • Train new team members on basic safety rules and quality standards.
  • Assist in documenting current processes in order to describe inefficiencies and losses.
  • Actively collect and record data related to process efficiency, defects, losses, production time, and attendance forms.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.
  • Actively identify and eliminate sources of waste, such as overproduction, waiting, unnecessary transport, excessive processing, excess inventory, unnecessary movements, and defects.

  • Proficiency in Bulgarian and English (on a communication level)

What extra ingredients you will bring (nice to have)

  • Higher education in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, Technical Engineering or similar in Manufacturing is recommended
  • Food technology and in-depth knowledge of the processes related to it
  • Basic knowledge in the field of statistics and statistical tools
  • Management of the production process
