Job Description

Job Description:

Do you want to work for a company that knows its greatest asset is its people? Are you a fresh graduate eager to kick-start your career, or a young professional with a few years of experience looking for your next big challenge? If the answer is yes, then look no further. Here at Mars, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Shift Coordinator to join our factory team!

As a Junior Shift Coordinator, you will get to know every aspect of production while working closely with various cross-functional departments, allowing you to truly understand the business impact of your work.

Beyond gaining professional knowledge, we actively support your development. By taking on this role, you will be joining a graduate development pathway, where rotating through different production positions will gradually shape you into the next generation of our leaders.

What will you do?

During this program, you will have the opportunity to acquire a wide range of highly valuable skills in the world of manufacturing. As you progress, it is very likely that you will be tasked with leading a team of up to 20 Associates within a continuous, 12-hour shift pattern.

The program offers you the chance to gain an in-depth understanding of how a factory producing a wide portfolio of products operates. You will deepen your knowledge of Health & Safety standards in a manufacturing environment, and build strong technical, functional, and leadership capabilities.

What are we looking for? (Is this really for you?)

We are looking for you if you have your University/College degree in hand (or will soon) with a maximum of two years of work experience. You must speak fluent Hungarian and confident English, have a strong desire to expand your knowledge and drive your professional development, and possess a genuine interest in the world of manufacturing.

  • University/College degree (preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or Food Science).

  • Maximum 1-2 years of experience; fresh graduates are highly welcome!

  • Fluent Hungarian and strong English verbal and written skills.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn and lead by example.

What support can you expect from us?

You will have countless opportunities to shape your own development and career path. Whether you want to sharpen your technical expertise or master new leadership skills, you can do it here. Regardless of your specific degree, you will receive full support from our top leaders, mentors, and functional experts.

What can you expect from Mars?

  • Work with over 130,000 like-minded and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles.

  • Join a purpose-driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.

  • Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.

  • An industry-competitive base salary paired with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

    • Annual Company Bonus based on business and individual performance.

    • Cafeteria package (e.g., SZÉP card) from your first day.

    • Commuting support (travel allowance for those commuting by car or public transport).

    • Private Health Insurance (Medicover) to ensure your well-being.

    • Life and Accident Insurance.

    • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (free psychological, financial, and legal counseling).

    • Discounted pet food to keep your furry family members happy! 🐶🐱

  • A clear career progression path with the opportunity to grow into a Shift Manager or other leadership roles within our global network.
