In Procurement, you’ll help create a competitive advantage for Mondelēz International by building winning supplier partnerships and effectively managing all company resources. Working with the businesses, you and your team will drive sustainable top and bottom-line growth through supplier innovation, best-in-class margin and cash management, and highly efficient source-to-pay processes.

How you will contribute

As Sourcing Manager, Media Agency Ecosystem, you will be pivotal in implementing advanced Media and Digital sourcing strategies within your assigned markets. This role involved driving procurement excellence through the daily management of Media Agency supplier relationships and driving excellence in media sourcing through best-in-class practices. You will leverage market insights to proactively identify and mitigate risks, explore new innovation and optimisation opportunities, and look for levers that will deliver significant value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Supplier Management & Performance

  • Oversee media agency relationships within your designated spend area, driving maximum total value savings to meet both Regional (MEU) and Global targets.
  • Achieve commercial excellence in media investment by identifying and leveraging trading opportunities to mitigate inflationary pressures, reduce risk, and enhance Productivity and reduce the Net P&L Impact on the business. A&C investment planning & management and influence over media spend levels will be essential.
  • Collaborate with supplier to secure competitive edge in both cost and quality through strong media deals and negotiations with media vendors.
  • Conduct accurate quarterly monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of agency trading performance, providing essential financial updates to senior leadership during forecasting cycles.

Internal Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with local, regional, and global cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative buying solutions that deliver business value while balancing both effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, offering insightful advice and guidance on media market dynamics and procurement best practices to internal stakeholders.
  • Act as an advisor to the broader Media Procurement team, actively contributing to a positive team culture.

Contract Management

  • Ensure comprehensive contract compliance across the designated spend area, involving, but not limited to, commitment delivery, media buying transparency, digital taxonomy, performance quality, and agency staffing/evaluations.
  • Oversee the successful management of the Source-to-Pay process and support in any payment related challenges.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution and closure of financial and performance audits.

Strategy Development & Implementation

  • Participation in the development and execution of Global Media sourcing strategies, designed to drive our media transformation agenda and overall business results.
  • Continuously enhance expertise in media procurement by staying op top of the latest industry trends, new media channels, and best practices, leveraging insights gained from external vendor webinars and conferences.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Prior experience in Marketing & Sales Procurement or Supply Chain roles is a must for this role.
  • Experience in agency environments managing Media and Digital planning and/or buying, is highly desirable
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favourable outcomes.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with a clear understanding of procurement's strategic role in driving organizational financial value.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, adept at overseeing complex initiatives.
  • Highly effective problem-solver with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly.
  • Organizational agility, with the ability to effectively influence and interact across all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes positively to group objectives.
  • Future-focused mindset, demonstrating curiosity about emerging industry trends, digital solutions, and market innovations that benefit consumers.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn, embrace challenges and foster continuous personal and professional growth
