More about this role

As our Poland logistics operations grow in complexity and scope, we are creating a Logistics Operations Supervisor role to provide dedicated senior operational leadership across the LogOps Polish team. This person will own day-to-day operational coordination across domestic distribution — from inbound through storage to outbound. The role drives process discipline, resolves escalations, and leads the LogOps side of our SAP 4 HANA transformation and continuous improvement agenda, ensuring these deliver real operational gains.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage priorities and workload allocation across the LogOps PL team — ensure balanced capacity, clear ownership, and timely execution across inbound, storage, and outbound.
  • Own escalation resolution — act as the first decision point for operational issues; assess, decide, and drive resolution or escalate with a clear recommendation.
  • Coordinate with 3PL operational counterparts — ensure smooth daily execution, flag issues early, and drive joint resolution with the Logistics Operations Manager.
  • Lead LogOps preparation, testing, and go-live execution as the team's S4H Super User Additionally, drive adoption of S4H processes within the team — train, troubleshoot, and maintain process integrity post-go-live.
  • Own and maintain LogOps process workflows — document, challenge, and improve standard operating procedures with input from process owners.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives end-to-end (e.g. process mapping, waste elimination) — from problem identification through implementation to measured results.
  • Own cost monitoring, invoice verification and accruals — ensure accuracy and timeliness in coordination with finance and external partners.
  • Deliver operational input for budget preparation and forecasting
  • Provide data, analysis, and operational insight to support Logistics Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Great Communications Skills - clearness, structure, and assertiveness. Challenging constructively, escalating effectively, and keeping people aligned.
  • Confidence in working with data, building analyses, and translating findings into decisions and actions. Strong Excel skills; Power BI or similar is a plus.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset – noticing improvement opportunities and having the energy to follow through.
  • Comfortable with ERP systems and digital tools. Eager to go deep and become the team's go-to resource for S4H and new technologies. Embraces AI-driven change.
  • Background in logistics operations, or supply chain— depth of understanding matters more than years on a CV.
  • Formal education is not a deciding factor — operational capability and mindset are what count.
  • Fluent Polish and English language
