We are seeking an experienced and driven Distribution Centre Support Manager to oversee key operational support functions within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role will be apart of the Senior Leadership Team within our Minworth Distribution centre, reporting to the General Manager, therefore requiring strong leadership of teams, systems expertise, compliance and a continuous improvement mindset.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Lead and manage the Stock Team, ensuring accurate inventory control and accountability.
  • Oversee and sign off monthly and annual stock counts, ensuring full compliance and audit readiness.
  • Take ownership of warehouse systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP, ensuring effective usage and continuous optimisation.
  • Maintain a strong compliance culture, ensuring adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (Sarbox) requirements and internal control measures.
  • Lead the Administration Team responsible for payroll support and Proof of Delivery (POD) processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across all support functions.
  • Develop and coach team members, fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented culture.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support wider distribution centre objectives

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution centre support management role.
  • Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
  • Experience managing stock control processes, including large-scale stock counts.
  • Solid understanding of compliance frameworks, particularly Sarbox and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and engage teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accountability.
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Committed to driving performance and developing people.
