Job Description

Job Description

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Uniquely Yours.

You provide software and application knowledge to support implementation of the given solutions.

How you will contribute

You will ensure that delivered services are optimized to meet business demands and the service operations strategy, plan, measure, report and communicate service improvement initiatives, and serve as a consultant on issues and resolutions. You will also recommend actions that can be taken to optimize investments and benefits and to mitigate risks. This role will require you to identify suppliers, evaluate them, on-board new vendors, establish and run vendor governance; collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments; work with project resources to provide design collateral and to configure software components so they are aligned with security policy and governance; and ensure adherence to development and configuration standards and processes.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Working collaboratively with multiple vendors
  • Leading complex projects - project management
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Managing infrastructure services delivery, support and excellence
  • Working in global IT function with regional or global responsibilities in an environment like Mondelēz International
  • Working with IT outsourcing providers using frameworks such as the IT Infrastructure Library
  • Working with internal and external teams and leading when necessary

More about this role

Mondelez Digital Services (MDS) is looking for Full Stack AI Engineers to join a growing engineering team building a new AI-powered insights platform. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary squad designing and delivering the intelligent systems that turn raw market data into decision-ready recommendations for stakeholders across global, regional, and local teams.

The team needs engineers across several disciplines — full stack development, AI/ML engineering, and data engineering — and each successful candidate will specialise in one or more of these areas while contributing to the platform end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve market and business data using Python, Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark), and AWS services.
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models and LLM-based workflows, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and agent orchestration using frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Build and ship full stack applications (APIs, backend services, and front-end interfaces) that surface AI-generated insights to business users — using Python, React/Next.js, and cloud-native services.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipelines, models, and applications to ensure reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency in production.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs, user stories, and working software.
  • Contribute to platform architecture decisions, including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), containerisation (Docker), and CI/CD practices.
  • Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and knowledge-sharing across the team.

We Are Looking For Candidates With

  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade applications or pipelines.
  • Experience with one (or more) of the following disciplines: full stack development, AI/ML engineering, or data engineering — with a willingness to broaden across the others.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
  • Exposure to LLMs and generative AI — model integration, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or agent-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with modern web frameworks (e.g. React, Next.js) and API design (REST, GraphQL).
  • Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and working with structured and unstructured data at scale.
  • Solid fundamentals in software engineering: version control (Git), testing, CI/CD, containerisation (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
  • Good communication skills, able to work in a cross-functional team and explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a bias for learning, staying current with the fast-moving AI/ML landscape.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI).
  • Familiarity with the Databricks ecosystem (MLflow, Feature Store, Genie).
  • Exposure to NLP or multimodal AI.
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and AI infrastructure.
  • Prior experience in a CPG/FMCG environment or working with syndicated market data (Nielsen, Circana/IRI, Kantar).
