The Strategic Account Technology Strategist (SATS) in our Retail and Consumer Goods team, plays a key role in inspiring and ideating with customers on technical possibilities , drives thought leadership in digital transformation and builds strategic partnerships with C- level technology and innovation executives.

The SATS is the leader responsible for designing the strategy and technology solution roadmap to drive the digital transformation (DT) and innovation agenda of our enterprise customers and acts as an innovation and DT thought leader. With deep industry knowledge, broad technology skills and unparalleled business acumen the SATS connects industry/business priorities to technology strategy and develops value propositions which align with our customer’s business strategies, leveraging the rich portfolio of Microsoft and its partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the customer's industry, vision, strategy, and objectives.
  • Explain Microsoft cloud and AI services, and apply them to address consumer goods industry challenges with Microsoft's roadmap and conceptual architecture.
  • Drive technology initiatives with customers, partners, and Microsoft resources in EMEA, orchestrating efforts to meet customer objectives.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft Strategic Account Executives in EMEA to create and activate account plans, grow the business, and shape technical strategies and sales pursuits.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Extensive experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading technical, support, and/or partner teams.
  • Experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.
  • Experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
