Overview

Microsoft is on a mission to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more. As part of this mission, we are seeking a high-impact Strategic Account Technology Strategist (ATS) to lead our technology partnership with, one of our most strategic global financial services customers.

This role is pivotal in shaping and accelerating the customer’s digital transformation journey, leveraging Microsoft’s cloud and AI capabilities to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term business value.



Responsibilities

Customer AI and Security Strategy Leadership

  • Understand and document customer business objectives, technology landscape, and AI and Security strategy.
  • Lead the development of a Secure AI Assessment and maintain a living technology roadmap.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level technology and innovation executives, driving increased NSAT and ATQ scores.
  • Facilitate Executive Technology Briefings to align Microsoft’s solutions with Barclays’ strategic priorities.

Drive Operational and Commercial Excellence

  • Ensure a robust qualified pipeline, with emphasis on AI design wins, Copilot adoption, and security solutions.
  • Lead technical governance and unblock consumption challenges across solution areas.
  • Build and execute MACC consumption plans in collaboration with team
  • Drive Azure resiliency and optimisation aligned to customers’ needs.

Technology Leadership Across Microsoft

  • Orchestrate internal and partner technical teams to deliver excellence and customer outcomes.
  • Share customer win stories and best practices across the global ATS community.
  • Champion continuous learning, especially in AI and Security, and complete all required training.
  • Leverage Microsoft AI tools to reduce non-core tasks and increase strategic impact.

Compliance and Trust

  • Model integrity and ethical behaviour in every decision.
  • Ensure full adherence to Microsoft’s compliance policies and training requirements.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks, supporting a culture of transparency and trust.


Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Proven experience in digital transformation roles, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to lead both business and technical envisioning conversations.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale cloud transformation programmes across multi-geo enterprises.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise and solution architecture.
  • Exceptional change leadership and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience working in global teams with a willingness to travel internationally.
  • Considerable experience in technical sales and strategic account management.
