As a Virtualization Specialist, you will be at the forefront of implementing and managing cutting-edge virtualization solutions that leverage the power of Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. Your role will be pivotal in enabling a secure, compliant, and efficient Cloud PC experience for customers, ensuring they can enable their end users to access their personalized Windows environment on any device. With a focus on Cloud PC management through Intune, you will streamline deployment and maintenance, while staying abreast of the latest virtualization technologies, including GPU-enabled Cloud PCs for high-performance needs. Your expertise will foster seamless collaboration and productivity, as you work across various internal and external groups to support customers in their end user computing transition. This role is designed for those who thrive in a flexible work environment, allowing you to work remotely and drive transformational outcomes for customers in the virtualization space.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: You will Orchestrate a virtual team and assess customer needs to develop strategies that proactively build a stakeholder network to accelerate and close Virtualization opportunities.
  • Business Value Selling: You will foster and expand Microsoft’s relationships with Customer Business Decision Makers (BDMs), hunt new opportunities by identifying and engaging with key business contacts, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision and budget processes, and landing the value proposition of Microsoft’s Virtualization solutions (Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop)
  • Scaling and Collaboration: You will lead the planning, orchestration and execution of Virtualization opportunities with internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Technical Expertise: You will lead Virtualization conversations with BDM and ITDM conversations, share best practices and key competitor knowledge across solution areas acting as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal.
  • Sales Excellence: You will lead and plan for accounts across territories, do compete plans and business analysis to pursue high-potential customers and manage Virtualization solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technology-related sales or account management experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent qualification) combined with technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • Proven track record in Solutions Sales for Desktop Virtualisation or SaaS-based company or similar technology.
