We are hiring an EMEA Consulting Lead - Operating Officer, reporting directly to the EMEA Regional Delivery Leader (RDL), Industry Solutions Delivery. This is a critical role on the ISD EMEA Leadership Team, partnering with the EMEA RDL to establish and drive alignment on key priorities and initiatives. This role is accountable for several critical functions including Business Performance, Resource Management, and Operational & Financial Excellence.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical/problem solving skills, demonstrated success in driving complex strategies and projects, excellent ability to drive cross-organizational relationships, an ability to lead through influence, proven project management skills and be a motivated self-starter.



Responsibilities

Business Planning and Execution

  • Lead the development and execution of EMEA-wide strategic plans for Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD), ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and driving critical business outcomes through robust operational rhythms and close partnership with the EMEA Leadership Team and finance and planning functions

  • Orchestrate cross-functional strategy planning and implementation, advising senior leaders on industry and company insights to accelerate organisational transformation, while integrating local market needs and turning into an actionable strategy.

  • Oversees delivery staffing, including capacity analysis, staffing decisions, and assignment processes, with a focus on improving mobilisation, resource prioritisation, and developing strategic workforce plans for the region

  • ISD EMEA Lead for organisational transformation, leading on the landing supporting landing of key initiatives in the Region, ensuring they align to global strategy and ensuring considerations for the local market.

  • Advises senior leaders on industry and company insights and recommendations on strategic decisions to accelerate the organisation transformation. Provide clarity in ambiguous situations, enabling effective prioritisation and decision-making for leaders across the organisation, and proactively anticipate business trends to recommend actions aligned with organisational priorities.

Lead Operational & Financial Excellence

  • Manage P&L for the practice with a focus on Consulting Revenue & Margin, utilisation and commercial cloud growth through a disciplined rhythm of business. Drives rigour on critical operational rhythms including budget cascade, revenue outlook, and scoreboard implementation in partnership with finance and planning leads.

  • Leads with rigor and proactive action planning focussed on quality assurance, collaborating to manage high-risk delivery status, cost overrun analysis, and integrating top deal status into business reviews.

  • Leads and executes the ISD EMEA rhythm of business (ROB), driving business planning, governance and reporting while setting best practice for strategy implementation in collaboration with the ISD EMEA Leadership Team.

  • Provides business intelligence on trends of our delivery and predicts business outcomes to make recommendations aligned to org priorities, decisions, and action plans.

Build Strategic Stakeholder Partnerships

  • Develops and maintains ISD EMEA partnerships with key business partners across ISD, CE&S, MCAPS EMEA, particularly with Business Excellence, Strategy and Transformation, HR, Finance and Services Sales to maximise organisational impact across the region.

People Leadership

  • Builds organisational capability to drive change and meet evolving customer and partner needs. Champions a learning culture and prioritises capability development as a foundation for success.

  • Creates an inclusive culture that enables employees to thrive through collaboration and diversity. Leads by example in hiring and developing a diverse workforce.

  • Develops talent through mentoring, coaching, and succession planning. Actively prepares future leaders and attracts critical skills to strengthen the organisation.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field AND significant years relevant work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Relevant years team leadership or people management experience either with or without direct reports.
  • Experience with project/portfolio management.
  • Experience with P&L performance, including revenue, margin, utilisation, and forecasting for ideally a consulting practice or services business.
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale business planning and operational rhythms (ROB) at regional or multi‑country level within ideally a consulting or services organisation.
