Job Description

Dedicated to one of the fastest growing customer segments, the Small, Medium, Corporate (SMC) and Digital Sales organization is on pace to be Microsoft's next $100 billion-dollar business - this is where you come in. As part of local subsidiaries or Digital Sales centers around the world, you will support a dedicated set of customers in identifying and achieving their business objectives through best-in-class digital engagement and partner co-selling.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: The STU Director within SMC is responsible for developing and implementing go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue and consumption targets. This involves setting clear objectives and aligning the team to meet these goals.

  2. Team Management: Leading a team of managers (9) across all solution areas to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers. This includes mentoring and coaching managers and team members (~90 ICs) to enhance their performance.

  3. Customer Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners to drive business growth. The STU Director ensures customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  4. Collaboration: Partnering closely with other teams such Account Team Unit (ATU), Technical Team, SAS Team and GPS to identify priority customers, partners and sales plays. This collaboration is crucial for accelerating revenue and consumption.

  5. Performance Monitoring: Regularly reviewing business performance and outlook across subsegments, solution areas and ensuring the UK is leading as a developed market on many aspects of the business. This involves surfacing market insights, discussing blockers, and identifying call-to-actions - given the opportunity in the UK market you are expected to have good understanding of the security and hyperscaler market.

  6. Operational Excellence: Ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes and systems as well as overseeing the integration of new tools and processes
