We are hiring a Senior Sales Director - to lead our thriving Central Government Account Team Unit serving our Enterprise Government customers. This is a team inspired every day to support the UK Government to achieve better and more sustainable outcomes for citizens of the UK. Through digital transformation of our Government customers we seek to– empower their employees, optimise their operations, and enhance the services they offer to UK Citizens. As part of the Public Sector leadership team, the successful candidate will be empowered to drive our sector growth and market share, achieve our key targets , lead our sales teams and develop new and exciting strategic partnerships with the UK Government from the core.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Customer Obsession

  • Deliver business growth through leading and empowering account teams. You will lead execution of Go to Market (GTM) to deliver customers’ business outcomes across their entire lifecycle.
  • Accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-level executives.
  • Maximise share of wallet, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption), and win against competition through flawless execution.
  • Drive partnership across the organisation to achieve business value for customers and business results for Microsoft.
  • Deliver business excellence in forecasting and reporting, and foster a culture of strong accountability within your account teams.
  • Proactively expand strategic network of key internal and external partners and other business decision makers for your team and customers to ensure execution of core tasks, grow sales and partner impact, and to ensure seamless account management experiences within the portfolio.

People Management and Wider Leadership Team Responsibilities

  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modelling, coaching, and caring of your team.
  • Develop, empower and transform your team to meet industry and customer needs by hiring, retaining, and developing talent.
  • Active leader in the Public Sector business, both internally and externally. Lead on key people pillars to contribute to creating an inclusive and enjoyable work environment

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND proven years experience in Sales and/or driving business growth or customer digital transformation, sales management, or leadership
  • Previous experience in selling Cloud services.
  • Experience building and sustaining relationships with c-suite executives.
  • People management experience.
  • Experience driving sales growth and growth strategies.
  • Direct experience of working within the Central Government Industry or providing services to Government.
