We’re looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to help customers migrate, modernize and secure their infrastructure, applications, and data on Microsoft Azure, laying the foundation for scalable, production-ready AI solutions. As part of the Customer Success team, you’ll work with some of our most strategic UK customers, delivering engagements focused on migration, modernization, operational excellence and resilient architecture using frameworks like Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF). You’ll leverage existing Repeatable IP and execution engines for critical milestones, ensure infrastructure, application, and database readiness for AI workloads, and ensure successful deployment that accelerates adoption. You’ll work closely with customer IT leaders to design and implement scalable solutions, resolve blockers, and accelerate adoption of Azure services. With deep expertise across Azure infrastructure, applications, databases, SAP, and hybrid environments, you’ll play a key role in helping customers unlock the full value of their Microsoft Azure investments. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

• You will develop relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates as well as be the Voice of the Customer and share insights and best practices and connect with Engineering teams to remove blockers.
• You will provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.
• You will deliver excellence as you own your committed pipeline and ensure delivery in alignment with customer expectations
• You will develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's Azure Infrastructure services required to operate AI solutions at scale, inclusive of value proposition and how they get value from their investment in the Microsoft technology.
• You will run Architectural Design Sessions to build plans for implementing solutions –governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment as you use CAF Landing Zones to rapidly enable migrations, help build customer resiliency in priority areas including Networking, Zonal/multi-region and Security and prepare our customers for AI Innovation.
• You will identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging Azure Infrastructure technical subject matter expertise and lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their Microsoft investments and deliver all work according to MS best practices and policies.
• You will demonstrate a Self-Learner mindset through continuous alignment of individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals as you accelerate customer outcomes and engage in relevant communities to share expertise, contribute to IP creation, prioritize IP re-sure and learn from others to help accelerate your customers transformation journey.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND suitable years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

• • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND demonstrable years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience
• Strong experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
• Strong experience working on technical projects
• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)

• Experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Infra Migration: Windows Server VMs, Linux VMs, Azure Arc, Azure VMware Solution (AVS), Azure Arc, RISE with SAP,
  M-Series Azure VMs, HPC
• Data Migration & Modernization: Azure SQL (SQL Server on Azure VMs, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database), Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for MySQL
• App Modernization: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ACA, App Service, Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)
• Security: Defender for Cloud, Network Security
• CAF + WAF (e.g. landing zones, WARA, networking, storage, monitor, backup/DR, resiliency etc.)
