Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking top performing Account Executives with digital advertising experience who can drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions aligning to the client’s advertising needs.


The Account Executive (AE) in Microsoft Advertising enables Microsoft to better serve strategic customers by applying customer obsession to what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and acting to build successful, long-term relationships. The AE will play a central role in the execution of the sales strategy of Microsoft Advertising’s Gaming solutions. The AE develops and maintains strong customer relationships anchored on connections with senior level executives across brand advertisers, their media agencies and game studios. The AE develops quality customer plans laying out revenue and customer satisfaction growth strategies. Success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience, and optimizing opportunities. The AE performs their role with execution excellence to drive client success and business results. The AE drives both revenue and customer satisfaction for MSA’s Gaming & Experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Microsoft’s Gaming products and will drive outcomes through a variety of transaction types (IO, PMPs) and more complex brand partnerships.
  • Work to influence senior marketers and Digital Marketing Stakeholders through relationship building as a compelling storyteller, leading with emotional intelligence, communicating with confidence and by effectively listening to identify clients’ end-to-end needs.
  • Help shape sales planning with the leadership team, including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while also opening new share of wallet opportunities with incubations products and ensure shared accountability for sales targets. Works in partnership with cross functional teams to bring the best resources to ensure deal success.
  • Lead the update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensure the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
  • Execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals driving for client verifiable outcomes at each stage.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing),
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., Sales, Advertising, or Marketing),
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience making recommendations to mid- to senior- level executives
  • Experience in Gaming industry
