At LEGOLAND®, every ride, attraction, and building helps create unforgettable memories for families. Behind the scenes, our Facilities team makes sure the Resort stays safe, functional, and looking awesome.

We’re looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly across the Resort.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC and be available to work a varying schedule from 12:30pm till 11pm including weekends and holidays, 4 days 10-hour shifts.

🛠 About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you’ll help maintain, repair, and install equipment, hardware, and maintenance accessories across the Resort. Working closely with the Facilities Team Leader and Supervisor, you’ll support preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects that keep the park operating safely and efficiently.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete assigned work orders and maintain daily schedules.

• Support facilities maintenance operations across the Resort.

• Perform general repairs and assist skilled trades with preventative maintenance and rehabilitation projects.

• Operate hand tools and light machinery such as drills, saws, grinders, screwdrivers, and wrenches.

• Identify equipment that requires repair, adjustment, or replacement and report findings to leadership.

• Maintain tools, machines, and equipment in safe and clean working condition.

• Follow preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance programs.

• Respond to maintenance calls and operational needs throughout the Resort.

• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe at all times.

• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and state/local codes.

• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and development programs.

• Work collaboratively with other departments across the Resort.

• Represent the LEGOLAND brand by following dress standards and conduct expectations.

• Keep safety as the #1 priority in all tasks.

💪 Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods around the Resort.

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders to access elevated work areas.

• Manual dexterity for tools, equipment, and computer use.

• Visual ability to read documentation and safety materials.

• Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone.

Qualifications & Experience

🧱 Who We’re Looking For

• 🛠 At least 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance and repair.

• ⚙️ Working knowledge of maintenance trades, including troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems, lighting, carpentry, and plumbing.

• 🚨 Ability to stay calm and think clearly under pressure, especially during urgent or emergency situations.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

• 📄 Comfortable reading and reviewing reports, work orders, and correspondence.

• 🔢 Strong basic math skills to support measurements, calculations, and maintenance tasks.

• 😊 A guest-first mindset, with a focus on delivering great service and supporting the overall guest experience.

• 👷 Ability to follow supervisor instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team.

• 👀 Strong attention to detail, with the ability to observe, remember, and report important information.

Pay Range

USD $19.50/Hr.
