Senior Technology Operations Technician
LEGOLAND® Billund is looking for a technically skilled and business-oriented Senior Technology Operations Technician.
Do you want to be at the forefront of daily IT operations at LEGOLAND® Billund? Are you passionate about delivering stable and efficient IT services, resolving complex technical issues, and mentoring colleagues? Then you may be our new Senior Technology Operations Technician.
As Senior Technology Operations Technician, you will be responsible for first-class IT service delivery across LEGOLAND® Billund Resort. You will ensure that attractions, hotels, and administrative functions experience seamless operations every day throughout the season. You will report to the Technology Operations Manager and act as a key escalation point for complex technical issues, while supporting the implementation of local IT projects. You will also mentor technicians and collaborate closely with local leaders and international colleagues within Merlin Entertainments to ensure that technology services enable the business to thrive.
Kvalifikationer og erfaring
Your responsibilities include:
- Resolve technical incidents and service requests efficiently, ensuring agreed service levels are met.
- Act as escalation point and mentor for Technology Operations Technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Proactively monitor IT systems to prevent operational disruptions and maintain service continuity.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutions in the IT service management system.
- Support local IT projects, including testing, deployment, and implementation of new systems and updates.
- Identify recurring issues and implement improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
To succeed in this role, we expect that you:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in IT support or a similar role, ideally within a complex operational environment.
- Bring strong technical expertise in End User Computing (EUC), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and network infrastructure.
- Are familiar with IT service management platforms, such as ServiceNow.
- Preferably hold an ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Work analytically and problem-solve efficiently, maintaining oversight even in a busy operational environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English & Danish, both written and spoken.
