Are you an experienced industrial controls technician looking for a new technical challenge beyond the traditional production environment? Join our Controls team and use your PLC, electrical, and automation expertise to maintain and improve the complex control systems that operate our complex attractions and entertainment systems. This role is built for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, fault-finding, and solving challenging automation problems. You’ll work with industrial control platforms, electrical systems, networks, drives, sensors, and safety systems while helping ensure our attractions operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
What You'll Do:
As an Industrial Controls Technician, you will:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-based industrial control systems.
- Identify and resolve complex electrical and automation faults using PLC logic, HMIs, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, and similar industrial control platforms.
- Troubleshoot industrial communication networks including Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Profibus, Modbus, and CIP.
- Perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, system upgrades, and reliability improvements.
- Complete root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and improve equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical control systems, sensors, actuators, motor controls, safety circuits, and AC/DC drives.
- Support equipment commissioning, testing, and start-up activities.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance teams, and external technical partners.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
We’re looking for an experienced industrial control professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for automation.
You will ideally have:
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, or similar PLC platforms.
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with HMIs, sensors, actuators, drives, and automated control systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networks.
- Experience diagnosing control system faults and using logic-based troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with the following is a plus:
- SCADA systems.
- Industrial networking and automation infrastructure.
- Safety control systems.
- CCTV, AV, show control, or entertainment technology.
- Amusement, attraction, or mission-critical equipment.

Pay Range
From USD $27.00/Hr.
