The Junior Finance Business Partner for France & Regional Emerging Markets (FREM) will partner closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver accurate, timely, and high-value financial insights on the current and expected performance of the newly established FREM cluster (France, Belgium, Nordics, Italy, Greece and Hungary).

Data Analytics – The ability to combine multiple relevant data sources, prepare data for analysis, identify trend and pattern insights which can then be projected into future scenarios, allowing actions to be taken to deliver against the business strategy
Data Visualisation – The ability to communicate financial and non-financial information through the use of a broad range of techniques, including statistical graphics, plots, information graphics and dashboards
Collaborating and Partnering – The ability to proactively foster relationships and cross-functional partnerships inside and outside the organization that creates an environment where effective challenging and meaningful cooperation flourish and lead to purpose led value creation
Strong digital acumen and agility, with proven proficiency in Office 365 and data tools such as Power BI.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Act as Finance Business Partner for the key accounts – including definition of key in year customer level financial targets and delivery against these
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of periodic financial closings in partnership with MGSF (Mars Global Services Finance), and co-pilot the business and European teams by explaining performance variations versus Last Year (LY) and Forecast, while translating variance analyses into actionable business learnings.
Support in the preparation of annual client negotiations, price increases, and customer business plans with strong partnerships with Sales, SRM (Strategic Revenue Management), Demand planning and the Market Director
Provide critical support to Market S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes through completion of periodic Business health checks and forecast updates during the DMR (Demand Management Review)/DMR Feeder meetings in each cycle
Through the DMR/DMR Feeder sessions provide Financial leadership in tracking business performance against agreed targets and deifying required action to ensure objectives are met.
In Partnership with the SRM team and SRM Finance Analyst, ensure that the trade budgets are managed accurately in the Trade Budget Systems; and that regular reviews are completed to determine the effectiveness of this and opportunities to improve ROI
This role will also support the FREM market unit :
Proactively co-design, document, and implement standardized, streamlined Ways of Workings (WoW) across France and REM to eliminate silos, simplify reporting, and optimize team resources
Assist the Senior Finance BP on ad-hoc financial analysis, strategic thinking, and performance tracking across the FREM portfolio.
Support the synthesis of periodic results for the FREM market unit, helping to tell the financial story and identify trends or focus areas for the leadership team.
Initiate, lead and manager finance projects within the FREM Market Unit aimed at continuous process improvement, automation, and leveraging digital tools and will improve current finance processes and deliver against value creation strategy
