Sales Systems Reporting Expert - Pet Nutrition Waltham, UK

As a Sales Systems Reporting Expert at Mars, you will be responsible for supporting the availability and accuracy of sales systems and data to meet the evolving needs of the Pet Nutrition UK & Ireland teams. You will apply your functional and technical expertise to translate complex data into meaningful reporting dashboards, driving continuous improvement in our Business Intelligence strategy and supporting key business decisions.

What are we looking for?

• Ideally, you’ll have experience working with complex data systems or a relevant degree, with a strong preference for skills in reporting software such as Tableau or Power BI.

• You’ll have a solid understanding of sales, demand, finance, or product supply data, with experience in both front-end and back-end reporting tools.

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical information for end users are essential.

• Experience in project work and system testing will be highly valued.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Support the business by ensuring data availability and accuracy across sales systems, including Compass systems and data lakes.

• Act as Product Owner for SRM Analytics data in HANA and TPM Source Agnostic data, maintaining data quality and fit-for-purpose reporting.

• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau, translating source data into actionable insights.

• Collaborate with business functions (Sales, Demand, Finance, Product Supply) to provide expert support and escalate issues as needed.

• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure effective use of reporting tools and data.

• Drive continuous improvements in Business Intelligence through planning, testing, and implementation of new reporting solutions.
