Trade Marketing Expert (Display & Equipment Manager) (f/m/x)

** This is a maternity cover role for 18–24 months, with the possibility of extension **

The main goal of this Display& Equipment Manager is to drive execution of permanent display in the local market, including developing local ‘last mile’ tailoring to menu card/catalog items within agreed thresholds. Drive simplicity and cost reduction.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Improve and unify ways of working across the Central Europe cluster.
  • Own and manage the MW local budget for permanent display, including document flow process according to P2P process (PR/PO creation, invoices, etc.), adapting to market specifics.
  • Set thresholds for permanent displays and ensure compliance.
  • Provide plan visibility and status on budgeted projects to S&OP cycle when requested.
  • Work with the commercial team to establish efficient and effective procurement solutions.
  • Own the menu card/catalog for permanent display in the local market, cataloguing solutions across the cluster and scaling best practices.
  • Ensure the database and picture catalogue of available merchandising equipment solutions is regularly updated; deploy standardized solutions where possible.
  • Scale new display ideas into the menu card/catalog, working with cluster D&E team.
  • Develop winning and innovative merchandising tailored solutions to maximize conversion and strengthen MW leading position in the category and in-store presence.
  • Produce displays and send them to markets consistent with refurbishment program.
  • Provide local input on the refurbishment program over the next two years.
  • Invest the display budget per customer as necessary (SCM agenda and strategy).
  • Develop new display ideas to meet customer/portfolio needs and achieve mutual sales growth.
  • Co-manage display orders – coordinate proper orders circulation, verify ongoing demand, run all orders, administer proper documentation, and continuously improve the process.
  • Ensure tools & equipment are available for local in-market execution.
  • Work with customers to understand their merchandising needs and identify opportunities, regularly visit assigned retail outlets, monitor competitor activities.
  • Manage stock and deliveries on display items in the central warehouse and communication with Sales, in partnership with Activation Executive where relevant.
  • Provide technical support to customers during business reviews when requested.
  • Prepare yearly PICOS display solutions to support Perfect Store KPIs.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of professional experience gained in sales/trade marketing function in an FMCG company.
  • Excellent PC (MS Office, etc.) and manual skills (including fluency in space planning software).
  • Knowledge of Polish retail trade, key customers, and confectionery market.
  • Previous experience in merchandising equipment design would be a great asset.
  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface with people at all levels of organization.
  • Creativity and imagination.
  • Excellent organization and project/time management skills.
  • Great teamwork skills.
  • Strong command of English and the local language, with a solid understanding of retail market research data and its applications.
