Job Description

Job Description:

Mars Snacking is a global leader in snacking, backed by over a century of innovation and iconic brand-building. Powered by more than 50,000 Associates and over 80 production facilities globally, our beloved snacks – spanning confectionary, salty, cereal, noodles and frozen foods categories – are enjoyed in more than 180 countries around the world.

The Opportunity

Are you an agile, forward-thinking supply chain leader with a passion for driving large-scale change and logistics integration? We are seeking a Supply Chain Transformation Lead to spearhead the strategic integration of our Australia & New Zealand distribution network across Mars Snacking.

Based in either Melbourne or Sydney, this high-visibility transformation role, will see you be instrumental in integrating the distribution networks of Kellanova, Mars Chocolate, and Wrigley across 7 Distribution Centres in ANZ, unlocking operational synergies, optimizing cost to serve, and establishing future-fit E2E digital planning tools. Being part of the local Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT) and partnering directly with Regional and Global teams, you will turn bold supply chain vision into executable, high-value programs.

What will be your key responsibilities?

As our Supply Chain Transformation Lead, you will drive the network integration agenda through five core areas of focus:

  • Logistics Network Integration: Lead the design and delivery of the unified ANZ distribution network integration across Kellanova, Mars Chocolate, and Wrigley, improving operating model synergies and optimizing cost-to-serve across 7 Distribution Centres.

  • Strategic Supply Chain Roadmap: Collaborate with the local Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT) to develop transformative initiatives aligned with global/regional priorities, including next-generation digital tools and end-to-end (E2E) planning programs.

  • End-to-End Program Execution & Governance: Champion strategic transformation projects from concept and business case through to funding and execution, ensuring robust program management, milestones delivery, and cross-functional governance.

  • Impact Tracking & Strategic Communication: Boost enterprise visibility and alignment by tracking key performance trends, measuring ROI and supply chain KPIs, and communicating critical milestones and learnings across leadership forums.

  • Capability Building & Best Practice Sharing: Coach and upskill local operational teams on global tools, processes, and systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and scaling best practices across Australia, New Zealand, and regional networks.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking an influential, change-oriented supply chain professional with expertise in complex logistics transformations and matrixed project leadership.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Logistics & Transformation Experience: 5+ years of proven supply chain leadership experience in FMCG, paired with 5+ years of industry or consulting experience specializing in large-scale logistics network integrations, change management, and project execution.

  • Matrix Leadership & Influencing: Proven ability to engage, align, and inspire diverse cross-functional teams, external 3PL partners, and senior leaders across local, regional, and global environments.

  • Strategic Acumen & Analytical Rigor: Strong capability in network design, cost-to-serve analysis, and business case development (overseeing programs influencing significant logistics budgets).

  • Agility & Ambiguity: Exceptional organizational agility with a proactive mindset, comfortable navigating complex, evolving business integrations and leading change with purpose.

Why you’ll love working for Mars:

  • Purpose: Help craft beloved brands with a legacy of over 100 years of local manufacturing making products that people and pets will love all while helping to build a more sustainable future.

  • People: A culture that values your contributions, fosters leadership, and recognises the impact you make. Your work truly matters here.

  • Development: Shape your career with personalised development and real opportunities to grow from day one.

  • Enjoy a team and business environment that is invested in helping you manage and grow your energy for work and life.
