Here’s the scoop - Summary

We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst, preferably within the pet food or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

In this role, you will support end-to-end supply chain operations by providing actionable insights across multiple functions and serve as the centralized resource for supply chain data and KPI governance.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is passionate about using data to enhance operational efficiency and support Champion Petfoods’ commitment to delivering high-quality nutrition to pets worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data across supply chain to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Identify supply chain performance gaps through data analysis, proactively engage with relevant stakeholders to understand root causes, and lead cross-functional efforts to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a center of excellence for supply chain data and analytics, ensuring data integrity and governance while acting as the single source of truth for key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards, data objects, and reports that track key supply chain metrics
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align analytics outputs with business needs
  • Communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Support demand forecasting and inventory optimization efforts to ensure consistent product availability while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Apply statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to enhance supply chain planning, risk mitigation, and responsiveness to market fluctuations in the pet food sector.
  • Assist in the deployment and continuous improvement of supply chain analytics tools and technologies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on supply chain sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Support cross-functional stakeholders by preparing, validating, and delivering data and insights to inform Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and facilitate alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in supply chain analytics or data analysis, preferably within the food or pet food industry.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (preferably Power BI).
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning or predictive modeling preferred.
  • Understanding of E2E supply chain processes preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
