Primary location: Poland, Sochaczew (possible other location in EU: Poland, Warsaw or Błonie, Germany, France or UK.
This role is responsible for leading the sourcing strategy development and deployment for a specific subcategory/ies in the PNE Co-Manufacturing / Co-pack portfolio and is responsible for Supplier Performance & Relationship Mgt (SPRM) & continuous improvement of the incumbent supplier base. Accountable to lead strategy definition & implementation, and supplier management, in order to ensure the forecast is delivered in full & in line with the quality, service, total cost of ownership, sustainability & innovation requirements. Subcategory/ies value creation & sustainability program, ensure saving pipeline generation to meet target 5% year on year expectations and all sustainability harmonisation with internal network & targets.
The role is critical in leveraging external capabilities to support PNE’s long term growth and innovation agenda.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Accountable & responsible for the performance of the category/ies in scope via designing, developing & documenting the 3 + years category strategy & roadmap, ensuring full implementation & all associated procurement activities.
Ensuring a robust Make vs Buy process is completed for all new activities.
Define & deliver operating plan (OP) target for subcategory/ies, as well as providing timely and clear updates via the Riks & Ops process, and intelligence to the business.
Monitoring and presenting performance and financial compliance where required.
Responsible of VL delivery with in-scope supply base creating sufficient pipeline and ensuring project implementation.
Responsible of Sustainability implementation program to ensure Mars commitments/compliance.
Responsible of Supplier Performance & Relationship Management for in-scope vendors.
Ensuring effective risk management, including IP, lead times, quality control and financial dependency.
Where appropriate participate in cross-regional sharing & collaboration.
Responsible for adhering to all Procurement Policies and procedures for in scope category/ies (as per Procurement Guideline).
What are we looking for?
BSc/MSc University Degree or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement, with at least 2-3 years in a senior category management or similar strategic role, specifically co-manufacturing within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry would be nice to have.
4+ years of professional experience, preferably in procurement, including defining sourcing strategies, delivering results and influencing stakeholders.
Proven Strategic Sourcing & Category Management experience.
Ability to work in multicultural environment.
Strong English language skills are required.
German language would be nice to have.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel, approximately 30% mainly with the region.
