As part of our strategic focus, a key focus is to empower pet professionals through Omni-channel enablement. This endeavor necessitates profound expertise in functional domains, mastery of standard methodologies and approaches, and adeptness in navigating intricate business challenges with finesse and pragmatism.

Thus, we are actively seeking a Global Functional Product Lead to join our team and spearhead this incredible journey. This role offers an opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping our future and crafting an extraordinary experience for our partners and associates.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, this role centers around the design and implementation of standardized capabilities. These functionalities will ensure efficiency in setting and getting the right offer to the right customer across the various channels and route-to-markets, this for each of our B2B customers (veterinarians, breeders, shelters, pet specialist retail, …), so that it can be deployed across 56 markets, through our Regional Deployment teams

What are we looking for?

  • Proficiency in project and program management, with a demonstrated track record in agile methodologies (exposure to one or more: Scrum, DevOps, SaaS CRM Application, …, preferably in B2B, FMCG or Health & Nutrition business)
  • Appreciation of the importance of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and fostering effective collaboration and stakeholder relationships,
  • A talent for guiding leaders and staff who may not be familiar with IT concepts, ensuring they feel empowered and supported in their roles,
  • Ability to navigate and extract the standard out of the intricate and interconnected structure of organizations, understanding and respecting the diverse roles and dynamics within

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Drive the strategic functional design and build of the Pricing engine, including the management of a team of 3rd party experts and internal senior stakeholders, to build a future-proof digital capability,
  • Collaborate on a global scale within the RC (Royal Canin) and PetCare business, fostering partnerships with business leaders to co-create and oversee impactful IT capabilities and digital initiatives that bring value to our customers and enhance their end-to-end experiences,
  • Foster collaborative relationships across regions with IT peers, working together to cultivate robust capabilities. Partner closely with both Business and IT Demand Teams, ensuring a fair alignment between technology solutions and business needs,
  • Uphold financial integrity and engage stakeholders consistently to ensure alignment with Mars’ enterprise objectives,
  • Infuse cutting-edge external insights and trends into our strategies, igniting sweeping business transformation on a grand scale
