Strategic Sourcing Manager
EMEA Region
Health & Wellness EMEA, Mars Snacking

Salary range - £48,000 - £55,000 + 12% annual variable bonus

  • KIND: Launched in 2004, KIND is on a mission to create snacks that are both tasty and wholesome, making the world kinder one snack at a time. From premium Fruit & Nut bars to a wide range of snack options, KIND leads in healthy snacking.

  • trüfrü: Founded in 2007 and acquired by Mars in 2022, trüfrü offers fruit-forward snacks coated in layers of chocolate. Having reached $200M in U.S. retail sales in 2023, trüfrü is set to expand into new markets in 2024. The brand’s founder describes tasting the product as "life-changing."

What are we looking for?

  • Degree-level education or 2+ years of procurement experience.

  • Proven category management and procurement experience (FMCG/Food sector preferred).

  • Knowledge of manufacturing or operational processes.

  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Analytical and project management skills with attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise Value for Money: Manage procure-to-pay procedures, pricing, and cost saving initiatives. Work closely with R&D and other departments to activate cost-saving measures.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Lead supplier relationships, manage continuous improvement, and oversee supplier performance reviews.

  • Continuous & Responsible Supply: Develop and deploy sourcing strategies, manage supplier contracts, and mitigate price volatility and risks.

  • Internal Process Support: Facilitate internal meetings to support the Technical function, co-ordinate technical projects, and ensure alignment with financial goals.

  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and qualify new co-manufacturers and partners to support business growth.
