The Strategic Pricing Manager Europe is responsible to transform our Pricing operating model from a local COGS based Pricing to a regional Consumer based Pricing model, incorporating International Trade requirements. This role will be a key enabler of the delivery of our 5+5 strategy across the region, transforming pricing management into a strategic asset, focused on recuperating volumes & consumers whilst mitigating exposure risks and enabling the delivery of long term NSV/T improvement through strategic pricing value.

It will also require proactive organisational agility and stakeholder management to build strong relationships at Market, Region and Global level and an ability to collaborate with a wide range of associates of varying levels of both seniority and functional expertise.

  • Significant experience in FMCG/CPG sales or demand.
  • Proven experience in SRM / RGM.
  • Extensive knowledge and strong acumen across all SRM practices
  • High organization agility to influence change and engage with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience leading transformation change, inspiring through results.
  • Proactive nature, leadership to build, develop and adjust with learning.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the design & deployment of PNE Pricing Strategy, driving quality volume growth, shape & VMS: Leverage price index insights by market to define the right Pricing interventions whilst balancing the need for Pricing value creation
  • Develops 3Y Strategic Pricing Plan, including Y+1 NPI steer for the region: Build 3Y Pricing directions by strategic cell, channel & market archetype and translate to Y+1 NPI plans.
  • Key user of Pricing Advanced Analytics, providing insights on consumer behaviour, price relativity & customer profitability: Work with CMI, Nielsen, markets & portfolio teams to identify key pricing consumer behaviours that can optimize current price points, PPA & identify white spots, enabling customer profitability.
  • Works with Cluster SRM and International Nego teams ensuring Net Price convergence corridor: Collectively drive exposure risk reduction by bringing strategic Pricing insights
  • Builds Pricing Community & Advanced Pricing Capabilities: Build regional Pricing community & key Pricing training program to elevate Pricing capabilities. Enroll Digital solutions together with markets to automize Pricing insights.
  • Builds Customer Value Creation trade stories related to Pricing.
