Senior Manager, Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) Center of Excellence (CoE)

The Senior Manager, Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) Center of Excellence (CoE), is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for end-to-end stewardship of the SRA Issues Management Program.

Operating within a 3–5-year time horizon, this leader acts as a trusted strategic partner who translates emerging, pre-regulatory scientific trends, shifting risk-assessment methodologies, and global policy developments into actionable business foresight. By collaborating with an expansive, matrixed network of senior business leaders, technical subject matter experts and regional SRA teams, the Senior Manager designs robust frameworks that integrate seamlessly within enterprise level risk management systems to assess financial and operational impacts.

This role will leverage advanced data analytics and predictive modeling to create highly visual, synthesis-driven landscape assessments that drive visibility, identify opportunities and unlock long-term freedom-to-operate initiatives.


What are we looking for?

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in a technical area, such as food chemistry, nutrition, food science, biology, chemistry, or toxicology. Advance degree preferred

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in scientific and/or regulatory compliance/affairs and/or a related technical area with food products or related product categories (such as food supplements, cosmetics, and natural health products) with proficiency in food law, nutrition policy, and regulatory affairs (preferably in multiple major markets).

  • Experience working on global-scale regulatory programs involving risk assessment & mitigation, issues management and opportunity identification

  • Demonstrated track record of working successfully across functions to achieve shared goals with proven ability to interact at all levels within the organization; proven drive for results with an ability to work independently.

  • Program Stewardship & Governance: Lead the governance of the Global SRA Issues Management Program, establishing a standardized framework that aligns with the broader enterprise risk management systems.

  • Long-Term Horizon Scanning: Partner with subject matter experts to monitor and analyse the 3–5 year predictive time horizon to anticipate long-term scientific and regulatory shifts.

  • "Pre-Regulatory" Intelligence Frameworks: Design and govern the organizational frameworks, processes and channels required to systematically capture "pre-regulatory" insights (such as emerging scientific trends, shifts in government risk assessment endpoints, and novel methodologies) from internal technical subject matter experts and regional teams.

  • Strategic Translation & Business Context: Act as the primary translator of complex, expert-level technical assessments, translating raw scientific data and regulatory trends into clear business strategy and commercial context, driving strategic options for leadership.

  • Risk & Opportunity Assessment Methodology: Design structured methodologies and risk assessment models that allow the business to evaluate the potential financial, reputational and operational impacts of emerging issues.

  • Data Analytics & Prioritization Systems: Build and manage data-driven prioritization models and analytical tools to evaluate complex global issues, enabling leadership to make objective decisions regarding resource allocation and business priority.

  • Strategic Visualization & Executive Reporting: Synthesize high-level, cross-functional expert inputs into highly visual global landscape maps, charts and dashboards to drive executive visibility and facilitate strategic decision-making.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Mobilization: Act as the SRA global lead and trusted partner, convening and driving alignment across an expansive, matrixed network of global business units, technical experts and regional SRA leads to build consensus on mitigation plans.·

  • Regional Empowerment & Ways of Working: Cultivate collaborative, bidirectional workflows and feedback loops with regional SRA teams to optimize how regional insights are ingested, analysed and integrated into the global framework.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 119,040.00 - USD 163,680.00
