We’re on the lookout for a Sales Finance Business Partner (BP) to join our high performing Finance team

This Melbourne based role leads critical deliverables within the scope of Sales customer and channel strategy and trade promotion optimization, as well as providing rigorous financial governance over trade spending, pricing, and commercial resource allocation.

The Sales Finance BP will contribute to educating and upskilling sales and key account stakeholders in financial business acumen and in utilizing trade spend evaluation and self-service tools. The BP will share and leverage best practices through a commercial finance community of experts, industrializing repeatable standards across channels and accounts.

What You’ll Do

• Be a true business partner—supporting the delivery of targets set within operational plans through periodic account closing & S&OP+ cycles.
• Drive strategic decision-making by understanding market dynamics, competitive trends, and consumer behavior to uncover opportunities.
• Champion commercial insight by providing insights and thorough inputs to the operating plan, revised forecasts, and strategic planning cycles.
• Lead impactful projects by developing strategic partnerships with Key Account Teams, Strategic Revenue Management, and Category Management through a deep understanding of the competitive retail landscape and analyzing customer-specific environments.
• Fuel a value-creation mindset across cross-functional teams through digital tools, insightful reporting, and commercial acumen.
• Upskill and inspire marketing stakeholders by enhancing financial literacy and encouraging use of Mars innovation toolkits for disruptive innovation with strong financial evaluation and storytelling.

What You’ll Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• CPA/CA or equivalent is highly advantageous.
• 3-5+ years of diversified financial management experience, including planning, forecasting, and commercial business partnering.
• A passion for driving performance through data-led insights and strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate numbers into strategic narratives.
• Experience working cross-functionally—particularly in partnership with Marketing, Sales, or Category teams.
• A proactive mindset, always seeking ways to simplify, improve, and add value.
