Royal Canin Perfect Store Manager

This role is responsible for internal management delivery of the Perfect store program in North Europe Cluster in Royal Canin to contribute to overall business strategy and performance.

This role will deliver this through membership of the Sales Acceleration team and wider MS&GA team, close collaboration and effective communication with Sales Teams in markets of North Europe and influencing local, European and Global stakeholders and deploying/shaping regional & global strategies to ensure successful deployment in the North Europe. Where relevant, building relationships with key customers in tandem with category manager to be a point of consultation and ‘expert’ deployment when required.

Success will be achieved through delivery and execution via Sales Teams of a best-in-class Picture of Success, operating with a category first approach and data informed insights

What are we looking for?

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Higher degree, or equivalent experience
  • Strong English skills

Knowledge / Experience

  • Category/Customer and/or Marketing/Brand experience with ability to engage, influence and impact stakeholders of all sizes by providing guidance on strategic direction at senior management levels.
  • Retail and or e-com Sales experiences (external or internal) for understanding of retail and e-com environment, ways of working and efficient way to communicate and plan deployment of initiatives
  • Technical and functional experience in category Management, Shopper Insights, Customer facing experience
  • Ability to motivate others, engage associates and develop peer relationships to deliver through others
  • Skilled in analytical approach, conducting analysis for markets customers and portfolios, taking decisions based on data and insights

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Leads Perfect Store design and deployment defining shelf and assortment principles in line with regional strategy acknowledging North Europe and market nuances.
  • Collaborate with the Category manager to ensure category vision is suitable for tailoring to customers and targets set in line with the Perfect store picture of success, as the start point for annual Execution planning and range reviews.
  • Responsible for communicating Perfect Store priorities with Sales ensuring engagement behind the plan and excellent execution at store level.
  • Collaborate with category leadership and sales teams to ensure relevant reporting, merchandising and range review support is contracted with and provided to accounts to support the execution of the Perfect Store principles.
  • Collaborate with Regional Category and Perfect Store roles (European Leads) to make sure North Europe Perfect Store design principles are leveraging the most updated and relevant research insights and company knowledge.
  • Defines and measures KPIs to assess retailer merchandising strategies and execution capabilities against the Perfect Store principles.
