A day in the life of an Associate
As our new Student Assistant, you will be a valued member of an engaged team who have the responsibility for driving mutual category and business growth in the Nordic region: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. You will become part of the Business Development team, where you will work to create engagement and sales within our business partners to help guide our strategic customer initiatives in the service of feeding One Million Pets.
The job is part-time, approx. 12-15 hours spread over minimum 2 days a week.
The role offers significant personal responsibility, diverse tasks, and extensive interaction within the organization. To excel in this position, we seek an individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and is adept at managing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to effectively convey product benefits and insights to both colleagues and customers. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, develop their sales techniques, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
As a Student Assistant in the Business Development team, you will join a Nordic caller team, who are in the forefront of driving mutual business growth with our Nordic retail partners and you will work in collaboration with our Field Sales teams.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
· Engage with Customers: Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers via phone to drive sales and build strong relationships.
· Support Product Launches: Collaborate with the team to effectively communicate product information and promotions to customers in the Nordic region, ensuring successful launches.
· Project Collaboration: Participate in projects aligned with your experience level, contributing to team goals and enhancing your professional development.
· Ad-hoc Support: Provide assistance with various sales-related tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success.
Who Are We Looking For?
· A Motivated Sales Enthusiast: Someone who is proactive, curious, and ready to take initiative in driving sales through phone interactions.
· Eager to Learn: An individual who naturally takes responsibility and is keen to develop their sales skills and customer engagement techniques.
· Interest in Sales and Communication: A person interested in mastering sales strategies and effective communication with customers.
· Approachable and Professional: Someone who maintains a light-hearted demeanor but is dedicated and serious about achieving sales targets.
· Educational Background: Currently pursuing studies in business administration, marketing, or a related field, with 1-3 years remaining.
· Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, with Danish as a must. Knowledge of other Nordic languages is a plus.
· Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to engage effectively with customers.
