As part of the Digital Demand organization, the role holder is responsible for the governance and right use of the Mars’ rapid applications development platforms (RADP) across Mars tenants to enable, foster and support Mars Digitalization at scale.

Role holder ensures that users have access to high-quality development platforms, with the highest standards of performance and security. He/she defines, formulates, communicates, and ensures the proper application of the rules and standards governing the platform. He/she monitors and manage the platforms’ activities, related services, and budgets to increase value for Mars, its segments, enterprise functions and Associates.

What are we looking for?


The Rapid Apps Platforms Governance Lead is a technical leader with in-depth knowledge of both business objectives and processes, as well as architecture, IT security and data management imperatives.


In regular liaison with the responsible teams and partners, he/she is responsible for ensuring that Mars guidelines are applied on the platforms for which he/she is accountable. To this end, he/she has in-depth knowledge of architecture and security tools and concepts, which he/she regularly updates by keeping abreast of news from software publishers, and by liaising with his/her support teams.


He/she formulates, drafts, validates, and publicizes the governance standards required to manage the platform. Role holder oversees their application and regularly proposes corrective measures.
He/she defines KPIs and develops reporting tools to measure the adoption of the platform, adherence to rules & standards, value creation and more.


Role holder develops or commissions the development of tools and solutions to implement the designed and agreed standards.
Role holder actively contributes to the training of professional and citizen developers of the platforms.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master or Sciences in IT, computer sciences, management, economics or equivalent
  • Proven experience of 5 to 10 years with the management of a rapid application development platform. Microsoft Power Platform preferred, Mendix or other global leading RADP solution is a plus
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience whether as citizen developer, pro developer, platform owner
  • IT project management experience, ideally in an international environment.
  • User-centric and agile first mindset to deliver solutions that work and deliver results quickly
  • An interest in new technologies and staying up to speed with the latest trends and use cases in IT/digital
  • IT project management experience, ideally in international environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)

What will be your key responsibilities?

Role holder will :

  • Nurture the growth of the platforms in scope in our organization, while applying the right administrative boundaries and governance.
  • Control who can access Power Apps in an environment and access data, using licenses, environments, environment roles, Azure Active Directory, Data Loss Prevention policies and admin connectors.
  • Use the Governance components solution to monitor and manage the compliance processes, flows, apps, and connectors in the Power Platform.
  • Establish best practices for admin and governance, such as setting up a Centre of Excellence, creating a support model, defining policies and guidelines, and enabling self-service.
  • Define, promote, and enforce the governance strategies of platforms in scope.
  • Actively manage and maintain the various environments of the platforms in scope, including application lifecycle management (ALM) processes.
  • Define, promote, supervise, and continuously improve tenant and x-tenant level services provided by the central service.
  • Manage security and DLP policies for each platforms/tenant in scope,
  • Look after capacity management for relevant capabilities and licensing notably Dataverse and Power Apps licensing at tenant level,
  • Own and ensure installation, customization, harmonization, and update of Microsoft CoE Starter Kits across Mars tenants,
  • Lead the continuous development of our DevOps toolchain & practice.
  • Review and assess Microsoft release plans, transposing impact & opportunities to key decisions makers,
  • Define & implement an automatization strategy to execute tasks at scale and costs optimized,
  • Manage & direct related tenant operations with supportive partners,
  • Partner with infrastructure and business partners to build and align on roadmaps, plans, budget, and contractual considerations,
  • Communicate regularly on governance issues to platform users,
  • Report on a regular cadence the state of the platforms per tenants to relevant steering groups and stakeholders.
