About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to drive sustainability transformation across our manufacturing operations.
Reporting to the National HSE Lead we’re looking for a National Sustainability Lead to shape and accelerate our sustainability agenda across Australia. This is an opportunity to lead enterprise-wide change through influence, partnering across manufacturing sites, engineering, operations and global teams to deliver meaningful environmental outcomes.
You will support the development and deployment of our national sustainability roadmap, driving initiatives across energy, water, waste and operational efficiency to support ambitious long-term goals.
While this role does not have direct reports, it offers broad exposure and the opportunity to influence senior leaders, site teams and regional stakeholders to deliver lasting impact.
This role can be based in Melbourne or near one of our Supply sites (Albury/Wodonga, Ballarat, Bathurst Asquith or Wyong), with occasional domestic travel (<20%).
What will be your key responsibilities?
Partner with manufacturing sites to translate global sustainability priorities into practical local roadmaps and delivery plans.
Drive execution of sustainability initiatives across areas including waste, energy and operational improvement.
Build alignment, engagement and momentum across sites to progress priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
Support projects, business cases and opportunities including sustainability initiatives, funding and continuous improvement activities.
Track progress, share best practice and connect sites with regional and global expertise to accelerate results.
Act as a trusted partner to sites, helping build capability and consistency across different stages of sustainability maturity.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a newly created role and help accelerate sustainability outcomes across manufacturing operations. You’ll work closely with sites to turn global ambition into local action, supported by strong regional and global expertise along the way.
Success in this role will come from building relationships, creating momentum and helping teams bring sustainability roadmaps to life. In addition, you’ll bring:
Experience in sustainability, manufacturing, engineering, operations excellence or transformation environments.
Strong project management capability with the ability to move ideas into action.
Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and driving outcomes without direct authority.
Comfortable working across multiple sites and balancing strategic thinking with execution.
Qualification in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
