Job Title: Key Account Executive
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Hours & Arrangement: Full-time. Hybrid. Fixed Term contract until April 2027
Segment: Mars Petcare
We’re looking for a proactive Key Account Executive to join our high-performing team and support the success of our Petcare portfolio.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Customer Development Manager to deliver outstanding commercial outcomes, build strategic customer partnerships, and help shape the future of our beloved brands.
You’ll also have the chance to take direct ownership of key responsibilities and make your mark within a collaborative, values-led environment.
What will you do?
- Supporting the Key Account Manager by managing promotional submissions via our online customer portal.
- Collaborating with the Key Account Manager to identify opportunities that strengthen customer partnerships and drive business growth.
- Taking direct ownership of projects that contribute to channel and business objectives.
- Leading process improvements within your role and across the wider team.
- Working closely with demand planning to support accurate forecasting.
- Creating and managing regular reporting and insights to inform decision-making.
- Providing general administrative and coordination support where needed.
What will you bring?
- A passion for sales, ideally with experience in FMCG or a related industry.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
- A solid understanding of core business metrics and trade maths.
- Excellent project management, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement lens.
