Royal Canin, a key division of Mars Petcare, is accelerating its Digital Transformation journey and expanding its analytics capabilities to unlock new business value. We are seeking an experienced Growth Analyst to join our Regional Performance Analytics team and play a pivotal role in turning complex data into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions and business growth.
This is a dynamic role for someone who can combine strong technical skills, business acumen, and an ability to influence to drive impact within an organization. You will play a critical role in analyzing large sets of data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive both strategic and operational decisions.
What are we looking for?
An ideal candidate will be intuitively “data curious” and enjoy uncovering insights from data that can enable better business decisions. They will have a background manipulating data at scale and translating it into actionable, relevant, and timely insights for stakeholders. They will exhibit strong analytical skills, written and verbal skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative team-based environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
3+ years of analytics experience in fast-paced industries such as CPG, Retail, Pharmaceuticals
Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling), and SQL. Experience with Python, and cloud analytics platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) as plus.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
Highly motivated with strong intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking
Ability to operate independently and manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong communication & presentation skills
What will be your key responsibilities?
Developing, maintaining, and extending Power BI dashboards & capabilities that track performance & uncover insights.
Performing bespoke analysis for business unit leadership to deliver insights into drivers of performance, potentially influencing operational priorities & strategic direction.
Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing activities to ensure data quality and reliability.
Driving innovation by exploring data assets in search of new applications, and/or by applying advanced analytical techniques to existing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Data & Analytics ecosystem to understand business requirements and contribute to the design of analytical solutions.
