The Petcare R&D organization is committed to operate effectively at a global scale, transferring products and technology efficiently to enable rapid global deployment of winning innovations from the global brand pipelines. To be successful these global programs must be run in conjunction with all relevant regional stakeholders and global functions such as Marketing, Supply, Services and Finance, Commercial and Engineering.
The job holder is the Senior Portfolio Deployment Scientist working within the Central R&D team, responsible for advancing technical readiness to accelerate the deployment of opportunities in support of the Pet Nutrition business through effective collaboration and engagement of key cross functional stakeholders in the receiving region.
What are we looking for?
The job requires excellent cross functional working and high degree of collaboration with the central and OE teams. It is important to develop internal networks and be able to support and influence peers and stakeholders. A good understanding of the innovation process and attention for detail on the differences required in different regions in order to implement from another lead region with speed. Also a good appreciation for global product design standards and ensuring deployment activities follow the intended design as much as feasibly possible.
What will be your key responsibilities?
1. Responsible to deliver on time in full deployment activities as described within the Global Innovation Process (GIP) to advance technical readiness of innovation for follower units and accelerate its implementation.
2. Accountable for the delivery of deployment blueprints and playbooks in partnership with GPD/Lead Unit RDT and marketing to ensure best in class knowledge management of global innovation.
3. Responsible to support brands expansions, transfers of new product and technologies globally, in line with demand and business supply initiatives.
4. Responsible to effectively manage project risks and to inform and influence the project team and key stakeholders, including effective communication and planning of additional Central R&D project activities to support a deployment including identification of key project milestones and deliverables.
