Thus, we are actively seeking a Global Release Lead to join our team and spearhead this incredible journey. This role offers an opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping our future and crafting an extraordinary experience for our
partners and associates.
Reporting to the Lead-to-cash Ecosystem Senior Manager, you will be responsible of the release process for Online and CRM SaaS platforms. The release process defines and controls how changes are moved from development
environment to production environment, through several milestones like testing, QA etc. You'll participate in designing, aligning, building, and communicating the release process across the organization. You will ensure internal &
external partners deliver changes against agreed scope, time, and quality. This release approach will enable to maintain Corporate standards, make the most of Composable architecture, in a context of products deployed across 56 markets, through our Regional Deployment teams.
What are we looking for?
- Master degree in IT
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the field of Omnichannel SaaS platform development
- Hands-on experience SaaS platforms in the domain of B2B CRM and on-line commerce (such as Salesforce, Intershop, Optimizely, Shopify, etc.)
- Appreciation of the importance of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and fostering effective collaboration and stakeholder relationships,
- Understanding of the requirements of an omnichannel strategy and a composable architecture, including how channels and various components interact with each other,
- Strong collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts to ensure alignment and cooperation throughout the release process.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Overall, your responsibilities consist in overseeing and coordinate the delivery activities between systems, applications, and IT products in the Omni-Lead2Cash area. You will have to ensure cohesive, reliable, and performing release management supporting creation of business value.
- Release Strategy: You will be responsible for defining the release strategy for the Omni-L2C domain, including understanding the unique characteristics and requirements of each channel, each strategic architecture component,
- Testing and Quality Assurance Across Channels: Testing releases across multiple channels requires thorough planning and execution. You will ensure that comprehensive testing strategies are in place to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software across web, mobile, and other channels. This may involve testing on different devices, browsers, and operating systems to ensure compatibility,
- Channel-Specific Deployment Considerations: Each channel may have its own deployment requirements and constraints. You will coordinate with IT and operations teams to ensure that releases are deployed smoothly and efficiently across all channels, minimizing downtime and disruptions to customer interactions.
- Compliance and Security Awareness: With multiple channels comes the need to adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain security standards across all touchpoints. You will liaise with Security & Compliance analyst about relevant regulations and security best practices, ensuring that releases comply with legal and industry standards to protect customer data and maintain trust.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Embracing CI/CD practices is essential for rapidly and reliably delivering updates across omnichannel environments. You will champion CI/CD principles, implementing automated testing and deployment pipelines to accelerate the release cycle while maintaining quality and stability across channels. You will as well drive 3rd party resources to deliver functional and technical changes upon scope, quality, time and budget,
- Stakeholder Collaboration: You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners, to gather integration requirements, prioritize integration projects, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
