As a leader on the logistics team, this position requires leading, developing, communicating with, and managing teams of associates to ensure outstanding supporting manufacturing and shipping of goods. The position will work closely with other company leaders both in logistics and other departments to ensure daily plans are executed supporting key metrics in safety, quality, productivity, and customer service.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Ideally, you will have around 5 years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and 2 years managing teams as direct reports.

  • Specific knowledge required for the position holder:

  • Excel and SAP, Office, Business Objects, TMS, WMS (basic),

  • Financial analysis for project evaluation.

  • Knowledge of the supply chain.

  • Knowledge of the order process.

  • Knowledge of Replenishment - CPFR

  • Reasons why the above knowledge is necessary:

  • They are basic tools for understanding daily activities.

  • They will enable more assertive decision-making.

  • Problem-solving with priority.

  • Minimum educational level required to perform the position: Bachelor’s degree

  • Required specialty or professional discipline: Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Business Administration

  • Required language: English

  • Necessary language level: Advanced

  • We are looking for someone who can communicates effectively, coach, motivate and lead a team and passioned to drive positive change in both processes, systems, and culture.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • The person is responsible for the supply chain collaboration strategy with Clients to deliver excellent service. They will lead 10 direct reports who will serve as the primary link between Clients and the Mars Petcare supply chain, developing collaborative supply solutions through a strong understanding of planning, inventory, transportation, warehouse management, and continuous improvement practices.

  • They are responsible for providing attention and service to our clients (both internal and external) across Traditional, Modern, Specialty, DTS, and Affiliates for the supply of products required by them.

  • They will monitor the billing process and customer service by actively coordinating among the involved departments within the company to achieve the service levels established by the organization, ensuring effective resource management.
