Supply Planner T1

Hackettstown, NJ

The CPFR Lead is the main liaison for the Order Management Team and a key support for customer buyers. This opportunity is essential in building strong, high-quality relationships with our customers, while also playing a crucial part in driving GSV growth and enhancing operational efficiency. Working closely with Sales, Supply, and E2E Demand Planning, the CPFR Lead fosters collaboration across teams to deliver seamless service and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management and/or related field.

  • 2+ years’ experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, Supply Chain Analytics or Forecasting. Experience with customer or internal systems (Retail Link, JDA, RSI, Manugistics, etc.). AND/OR

  • 4+ years’ experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, Supply Chain Analytics or Forecasting.

  • Experience with customer or internal systems (Retail Link, JDA, RSI, Manugistics, etc.).

  • Ability to travel (20%) as required.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours.

What will be your key responsibilities?

COLLABORATIVE PLANNING:

  • Accountable for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the replenishment/inventory management teams at our retail trading partners. Must effectively influence these individuals, gaining support for replenishment and inventory management policies that maximize product availability at store level, while minimizing inventory in the supply chain.

  • Work with Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer to address behaviors that drive inefficiency and / or unnecessary cost into supply chain activities. Analyze service metrics in order to improve business practices resulting in value creation or waste elimination.

  • Communicate progress on key customer scorecard measures to all internal and customer stakeholders, with root causes and recommend action plans for improvement (In-stock, In-full, On-time, etc.).

  • Collaborate with Sales and with the Customer on event/promotion strategies and system execution approach.

  • Point person for operational execution of all modular/planogram changes, working jointly with the customer replenishment team. Creates execution plan and coordinates internally with account team, demand planning, operations planning, and category leadership to ensure a seamless transition to the new modular.

  • Communicate customer constraints to Sales for IBP inputs to gain alignment on period expectations

FORECASTING/REPLENISHMENT:

  • Responsible for meeting customer in-stock targets at store and warehouse level. This is accomplished by proactive inventory analysis using the customers’ forecasting and inventory management systems, identification of any forecast or in-stock issues, followed by implementation of action steps to resolve them.

  • Monitor, analyze and make recommendations to better align internal forecast with customers demand levels by:

    • Customer Demand Planning - detailed communication to Demand Planning of all promotional plans.

    • Period forecast revisions and 30/60/90 day forecast projections.

    • Item level deployment requirements for all promotions.

    • Detailed analysis of internal and external inventory, with clear indication of potential problems or opportunities.

    • Identify current or future risks to maintaining high in-stocks/on-shelf availability and recommend or execute interventions to protect the shelf.

General responsibilities of customer activities including:

  • Manage proper inventory to support growth plans such as product launches, promotions and in store events in addition to seasonal activity.

    • Seasonal/fixed quantity tracking

    • Milestone validations

    • Quota management

  • Recommend product movements to customer replenishment and inventory management teams.

  • Effectively leverage customer forecasting system reporting capabilities

  • Partner with customer to be the best in class per Service As Measured By Customer (SAMBC)

  • Working knowledge of pipeline systems and procedures.

  • For constrained supply or allocations, the CPFR leaders analyze and manage the best approach for use of available inventory - to include specific customer settings that determine orders.

  • Internal & external escalation point for critical service related and navigates sensitive communications on supply constraints.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 85,843.00 - USD 118,036.00
