As a Cluster Activity Manager, you will lead the Cluster Activity Team and manage the Cluster DMR, ensuring excellent execution of the cluster project portfolio through standardized and simplified cluster and local activities, fully aligned with QuEST Governance and S&OP+ Collaboration.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree and min. 5 years of business experience.

  • Sound business understanding, both supply and demand.

  • Knowledge of S&OP+ process, facilitation & communication skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Fluent in English (written & spoken) Good knowledge of MS 365 tools.

  • Preferred: Line Management experience.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of AM processes and tools (eg QuEST, PPM).

What will be your key responsibilities?

Cluster Activity Management & Deployment incl. QuEST Governance

  • Is the guardian of own cluster activities: allocating Cluster Activity resources; providing business recommendations; outlining opportunities and implications; and ensuring efficient alignment and communication flows.
  • Is the most objective body in the cluster, highlights issues and risks, identifies solutions, challenges and provides recommendations and trade-off scenarios.
  • Ensures forward visibility of the total cluster activity pipeline and cluster SKU catalogue, including bringing transparency to the workload within the Cluster Activity Team and provoking the discussion to simplify and standardize.
  • Ensures RFT deployment of cluster activities incl. PLRs in line with the agreed BIC execution standards, delivery of relevant KPI’s and continuous improvement.

DMR leadership and S&OP+ Orchestration

  • Facilitates the Cluster DMR and ensures relevant connections into the regional S&OP+ Process to ensure transparent decision protocols and efficient communication flows.
  • Creates full business transparency through linking with the Cluster Leadership Team to surface and drive key opportunities and tensions across the cluster, driving decisions, recommendations and escalations into the Regional S&OP+ process.
  • Governs cluster feeder meeting structure & ensures connections to all relevant stakeholders in the cluster and markets.
  • Develops, governs and continuously improves the cluster/market relevant processes, tools, KPI’s and WoW, in line with the regional S&OP+ process principles and agreements, driving simplicity & standardization, harmonizing across clusters as appropriate.

Leading the Cluster Activity Team

  • Leads change and builds Cluster Activity center of expertise with clear R&R.
  • Leads and develops a high performing Cluster Activity Team with the right skills and capabilities. Owns the talent pipeline and succession planning.
  • Deploys the SD Department OGSM within their own Cluster Activity Team.
  • Cultivates an environment for personal development and enhances team engagement.

Leads Crisis & Calm Management for the cluster

  • As the CMT Project Manager the jobholder is responsible for ensuring the CMT operates efficiently and for compliance with mandatory activities. That includes managing the team’s activities, during a crisis and in “peace time”, keeping track and ensuring follow-through of decisions and actions.
  • Partners closely with the CMT Leader, Communications Leader, Cluster Troika and regional CALM team to ensure CMT is trained, equipped and ready to prevent or manage a crisis.
  • Implement the mandatory processes in CALM to ensure the CMT’s readiness, keep everyone on the team accountable for making the time and devoting their full attention to resolving a crisis and manage the information flow within the CMT, and, with the Legal Lead, ensure this information remains confidential.

Driving critical change initiatives and projects for the department incl. standardization & simplification within and across clusters

  • Ensures efficient interaction between the cluster, site, and regional deployment teams, being a strong and objective voice of the cluster/markets in Europe.
  • Shares and aligns good practice across the teams, ensures robust knowledge management structures and pro-actively drives learning culture.
  • Brings good understanding of cluster/market & customer requirements to the wider EU team to represent cluster/market needs and drives simplification & harmonization within and across clusters in line with the regional mandate.
  • Develops & deploys relevant digital solutions to drive transparency, simplification, standardization and efficiencies in all areas of influence.
  • Proactively contributes to Department engagement and OGSM work streams. The CAM is the expert of all activity, business process and crisis management related topics and as such is a key partner for the local cluster leadership team.
  • Works closely with the cluster leadership team and regional business teams as well as cluster Supply Chain & demand functions.
  • Cross-cluster/market alignment and good practice sharing is crucial. · Is an expert in project-, process- and portfolio-management including the related ways of working.
  • Takes decisions around market feasibility and is responsible for the excellent execution of the cluster activity pipeline.
  • Provides business recommendations around cluster/market project portfolio, promotions and Activity management within the strategic frame, and so requires strong business understanding.
