Cloud Technology Owner (CoE) | hybrid | Guararema
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technology Owner to join our Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) team. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our cloud compute services on Microsoft Azure, as well as overseeing on-premises infrastructure, including storage and servers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux operating systems and a passion for driving cloud and infrastructure excellence.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
Manage physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network components in on-premises data centers.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for critical infrastructure.
Collaborate with hardware vendors and internal teams for maintenance and upgrades.
Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with security teams to conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate issues.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Security, Networking, and Application teams.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Define standards and maintain Linux servers across cloud and on-premises environments.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and best practices.
Identify opportunities for process automation, cost savings, and performance enhancements.
Develop and execute capacity planning and future infrastructure roadmap.
Participate in Cloud Architecture Review Boards (ARB) for KPI, SLA/O definition.
Be a cloud ambassador by providing guidance and direction to Cloud CoE customers on cloud adoption.
Contribute to root cause analysis and major incident reviews as required.
