Location: Warsaw

As a Category Manager for Mars Pet Nutrition in Poland, you will drive the Category Vision and ensure excellent in-store execution with our local Polish team and retail partners. You will deepen collaboration with customers to execute cluster strategies and the Picture of Success (PicoS) to improve quality and distribution, ultimately enhancing Mars’ and category performance. As the key expert on the petcare category in Poland, you will identify growth opportunities and work closely with Sales, retailers, and internal teams to drive business planning and results.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Deploy Category Vision with Customers: Lead category vision in the Polish market, plan and execute initiatives related to shelf and category management, and align with Mars customer strategy through sales meetings and retailer projects.

• Drive Excellent In-Store Execution: Collaborate with Key Account Managers to implement bold actions per customer, continuously enhance category understanding, and prepare project plans as needed.

• Be the Category Expert in the Market: Monitor category performance using KPIs, identify growth areas, recommend follow-up actions, and support local reporting and insights.

• Integrate Category Perspective in Business Planning: Provide category inputs and benchmarks for planning cycles, set distribution targets, and follow up with Sales throughout the year.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Demand or Sales roles, ideally within FMCG.

• Strong knowledge of Category Management processes and tools such as Nielsen and Spaceman.

• Proven ability to deliver insight-driven storytelling and translate it into impactful actions.

• Business acumen with high numerical ability and experience balancing stakeholders in complex environments.

• Customer-focused with a track record of driving results and accountability.
