About the role: This role will be working for our Mars ​Food Nutrition​ segment, ​where we bring people together through flavour.​

Role Title: Assistant Brand Manager - MasterFoods
Location: Sydney, NSW
Hours: Full-time, ongoing
Reporting to: Portfolio Marketing Manager, Franchise Food

What you’ll do:
The role will be key to the executing brand activity for MasterFoods Recipe Bases and Cooking Sauces and supporting the broader MasterFoods team on key projects. In this role, you’ll grow as you learn to:

  • Drive brand and portfolio growth, shaping and delivering annual plans aligned to the 3-year strategy using consumer, shopper and category insights.

  • Drive integrated brand communications, supporting the development and execution of impactful campaigns and end-to-end brand experiences.

  • Coordinate and drive innovation and NPD delivery, for a transformational 3-year pipeline and cross-functional teams to launch growth initiatives on time and on budget.

  • Deliver financial performance, with P&L accountability for the Meal-Makers portfolio, optimising mix and managing risks and opportunities through S&OP+ as your grow your commercial savvy to learn larger brands.

  • Build strong partnerships and teams, collaborating cross-functionally and with agencies while fostering a high-performance culture and personal leadership growth.


Your unique ingredients:

  • Bachelor of Business (preferably with a Major in Marketing) or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years in marketing/brand or similar experience

  • Experience in Innovation / NPD as well as CPG / FMCG highly regarded but not essential

  • A strong ability to pick up new concepts, develop relationships, and drive action and improvement
