Job Description:

The Applications Services Manager manages the team that provides functional and technical expertise on the SCP is in charge of design, development, deployment, further evolution, and support of Global Application products to business users, including the ITIL Service Delivery process.

Continuous Improvement, Deployment project roles, and Service Introduction project roles. This role will be part of the Global Applications Service Delivery team based in different locations across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • SCP Product Management has overall accountability, including lifecycle management for services

    and products

  • Support, Influence, and contribute with Leadership to define the strategy for IT Solutions, in line with

    operational excellence strategies, transformational programs, and business capabilities

    strategies

  • Maintain awareness of industry directions for products and services in the SCP area, to

    Define new, cost-effective solutions or optimize existing ones.

  • Service management with 3rd Party vendors based on role model operational excellence, with

    Overall accountability on the metrics for service (SLAs, Availability, performance, etc.)

  • Accountable for ensuring the Service Continuity strategy for services and products is in place, including

    DR simulations and tests were properly conducted based on Mars Inc. standards

  • Accountable for regular status updates to stakeholders on the progress of all demands raised by them

    Business

  • Development management with 3rd-party vendors based on role model development

    excellence, with overall accountability on metrics for development

  • Escalation point for any business demands, working with his team and Business stakeholders to

    address, engaging all resources needed to solve this demand

  • Sustain the user community and develop the key users, functional experts, and product owners

    network.

  • Engage and collaborate with other teams when needed (for example: Platform, Database,

    Security, Processing, Deployment, Development, other BCF towers in BDS, etc., to address

    Business needs

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT Technology or Computer Science, or Equivalent

Knowledge / Experience

  • IT Background and Leadership

  • ITIL, PMI, Agile, DevOps, Scrum certifications will be a plus

  • Strong SCP Knowledge, preferred in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry

  • 5-7 Years of experience preferred in Product and Services on SCP

  • Architecture and Functional knowledge on SCP

  • Demonstrate Line Management Experience and Capability

  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment and manage multiple activities and priorities

  • Knowledge of Mars products and environments, ideally on SCP, will be a plus

  • Financial and Budget management experience
