The Vendor Performance Analyst is responsible for developing and executing the CR-NCAM Area's procurement and performance strategy and action plan, aligned with the area's business plans. The position can be located in any country where required within CR-NCAM's scope.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing long-term supplier relations and strengthen external partnerships.

  • Accountable for optimizing the procurement spend across the purchase categories under his responsibility.

  • Responsible for optimizing the contracts of the purchase categories under his responsibility.

  • Accountable for register and follow-up gameplan projects performance and results in the Procurement reporting tool (PPM).

  • Ensure the compliance of the global procurement process with accordance to Maersk's global and local business principles, policies and standards.

  • Responsible for developing category strategy in alignment with area business plans.

  • Enable sustainable and profitable growth through best-in-class sourcing, optimizing operational behaviors and supplier innovation.

  • Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Value Ownership models in collaboration with internal user and support functions.

  • Contracts drafting in Spanish and English and accountable for the overall contracting process (in conjunction with area legal experts)

  • Vendor onboarding.

  • Delivery & SLA: Own service performance; implement corrective actions and escalate early. Ensure SLAs are in place and updated promptly to reflect any relevant changes

  • Compliance: ensure legal, HSSE, policy and ESG obligations are met and evidenced.

  • Financial control: validate invoices, reimbursables, advances/amortization, and budget adherence.

  • Governance: run MOR/QBR cadence; maintain action log and decision log.

  • Change/claims: manage CR process; assess claims by components; coordinate cross-functional reviews.

We are looking for:

  • +2 Years of direct Procurement and/or Sourcing experience.

  • Desirable working experience in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector/industry.

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Customs or related areas.

  • Negotiation and management skills to maximize the outcome of contracts and sourcing negotiations.

  • Growth mindset and continuous improvement mentality.

  • Strong planning and prioritizing (based on impact) skills to manage work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and high-level goals in a complex, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work both independently, as well as and as part of a cross-departmental team.

  • High proficiency working with Microsoft Office Products including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Power BI and ERPs, and E-Procurement Systems.

  • English proficiency
