Job Description

APM Terminals

Talent Acquisition Specialist

At APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, we enable global trade and drive sustainable growth. What drives us forward is a mindset of always improving — observing how work happens, identifying what creates value, and removing what gets in the way. We constantly look for smarter, simpler, and safer ways of operating. If you thrive in environments where people value learning and are committed to continuously improve daily operations, join us and be apart of our journey.

🤝 What We Offer:

At APMT Terminals, we foster a dynamic learning and training culture that empowers our employees to excel. Our commitment to improvement is driven by Lean principles, ensuring that every team member has the opportunity to develop their skills and advance their careers. Experience a diverse, multinational workplace where your operational insights directly influence how we work.

  • A role with real influence on how we attract talent—where you can help shape practical, scalable recruitment approaches and improve candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Exposure to a broad stakeholder landscape across site operations and corporate functions, with opportunities to build strong internal partnerships.

  • Ongoing development through hands-on learning, structured tools and processes, and the chance to deepen your expertise in direct sourcing and talent pipelining.

  • A collaborative working environment where data, market insight, and continuous improvement are used to make recruitment simpler, faster, and more effective.

Location: Poti, Georgia - The role requires on-site presence.

Position reports to: Talent Acquisition & Attraction Manager (Europe, Africa & Hubs), with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Head of People Function, Poti.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Hiring Managers and People Partners to deliver end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a consistently positive hiring manager and candidate experience.

  • Drive direct sourcing activities, including identifying, approaching, and screening passive candidates for critical roles.

  • Act as a trusted sparring partner to People Partners/HR stakeholders on talent attraction and acquisition strategy, including proactive hiring forecasts.

  • Build and maintain relevant talent pools and pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs.

  • Monitor external talent market trends and share insights to strengthen role positioning, sourcing strategy, and hiring decisions.

  • Identify and support employer branding initiatives (e.g., site presence, local outreach, messaging improvements) to increase talent attraction.

  • Spot process improvement opportunities in recruitment and help implement changes that remove waste and improve quality, speed, and stakeholder experience.

  • Participate in career fairs and relevant talent events to represent APM Terminals and expand talent networks.

  • Drive local rollout and follow-up of corporate and COE initiatives (e.g., Diversity & Inclusion).

  • Own and lead all local internship programmes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day

  • Solid hands-on experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a complex, international organisation, with confidence operating across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Proven capability in direct sourcing and screening, including engaging passive candidates and building structured pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.

  • Experience hiring across both office-based and frontline/operational populations—ideally within transport & logistics, engineering, supply chain, or related environments.

  • A candidate-centric, data-informed approach with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder matrix.

  • A structured, delivery-focused working style—able to prioritise, manage multiple requisitions, and deliver against agreed timelines and scope.

  • Collaborative, pragmatic approach with the flexibility to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in both English and Georgian is a must.

🌟🌍We’re excited to hear from you!
