About the Job

The Sustainability Analyst supports the organization's sustainability strategy by collecting, analyzing, and reporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data. The role is responsible for monitoring sustainability performance, ensuring data accuracy, supporting compliance with sustainability reporting requirements, and providing insights that help drive the company's sustainability objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a passion for sustainability and experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze sustainability-related data, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.

  • Support the preparation of sustainability reports in accordance with applicable frameworks and standards.

  • Monitor and report key sustainability performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Perform data analysis and develop insights related to carbon emissions, energy consumption, waste management, water usage, and other sustainability metrics.

  • Support the calculation and tracking of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather sustainability data and ensure reporting consistency and accuracy.

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of sustainability programs, initiatives, and targets.

  • Support internal and external audits related to sustainability and ESG reporting.

  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and management reports to communicate sustainability performance and progress.

  • Stay informed of emerging ESG regulations, reporting requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve sustainability data management, reporting processes, and controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG Reporting, Environmental Management, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting sustainability or ESG-related data.

  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and frameworks.

  • Experience performing data analysis, trend analysis, and KPI reporting.

  • Experience working in a multinational or corporate environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Experience with sustainability reporting platforms, BI tools, or ESG software is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Power BI, or similar reporting tools is an advantage.

Preferred Knowledge

  • ESG reporting frameworks and standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, ISSB, or similar).

  • Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol and carbon accounting methodologies.

  • Sustainability regulations and disclosure requirements.

  • Environmental performance measurement and reporting.

  • ESG data governance and sustainability performance management.
